Zoya Charitable Trust renovated Muzhathadam government UP School in association with Serum institute. This is the 3rd School renovated by ZCT & our 4 School Project.
Since its inception in 1879, Government U.P. School, Muzhathadam has stood as a beacon of education in the northern part of Kannur. With a proud legacy spanning over a century, this institution has nurtured many eminent personalities in political, social, and cultural fields-notably Hon’ble Mr. Justice Muhamed Mustaque, Chief Justice of the High Court of Sikkim.
Despite its rich heritage and spacious campus away from the city’s congestion, the school has faced challenges in recent years due to aging infrastructure and declining student enrollment. Recognizing the need to strengthen public education and support the children of our community, Zoya Charitable Trust, Kannur undertook the complete renovation of the school building with the help of SERUM INSTITUTE, PUNE
Under the visionary leadership of the Trust Chairperson, Dr. Shama Mohamed, the renovation commenced in April 2025. We are delighted to announce that the school has now been fully modernized to match the standards of leading private institutions.
